Layer Cake from Origin Coast is Current’s first curated flower offering. A high THC indica-dominant cultivar developed from some of the world’s most sought-after genetics, its a cross of Wedding Cake x GMO x Triangle Kush x Skunk.

Large emerald green buds covered in dense trichomes provide a complex terpene profile dominant in beta-Myrcene, Limonene, and trans-Caryophyllene, giving this cultivar a distinctive palette. A light vanilla scent adds some sweetness to the strong skunky aromas, while the Caryophyllene gives it a spicy flavour with a hint of diesel as it burns.

Layer Cake is grown indoors in small craft batches. It is hang-dried and hand-trimmed, representing the true craft spirit and ensuring a rich, dynamic experience and clean white ash. Packaged in a biodegradable pouch.

Details: Layer Cake is grown by micro cultivator Origin Coast. Licensed in February 2021 for micro cultivation and processing, Origin Coast produces unique, small-batch cultivars grown in their purpose-built facility on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. Head Growers Jeff and Sean have a combined 35 years of cannabis cultivating experience. Together, their passion for growing premium craft cannabis using soilless mediums comes alive inside the Origin Coast operations where they tailor and customize the approach to growing each individual cultivar, according to its needs. The results; top-shelf buds caked in trichomes and bursting with flavour, that deliver long-lasting effects.
